The MeBestie Method offers inclusive, inspiring, thoughtful and creative coaching from a trauma-informed and psychologically sound perspective.
I offer spiritual coaching for disabled/neurodivergent people and/or LGBTQ+ people from an affirming and evidence-based standpoint. My main coaching focuses on personal and spiritual transformation. I don't coach from any specific religious perspective, I coach from a combined spiritual and psychological perspective. I found it more holistic that way. So it doesn't matter what you're religion is, everyone is welcome here!
However, since I use spiritual tools, this coaching might not be suited for you if you're not spiritually open in any sense. No, you don't have to be religious, but it is necessary to be spiritual or at least open to it to request coaching from me.
Important to remember, though, is that I use spiritual tools from a psychological perspective to enhance the mind and psyche and not the other way around!
I have trainting in several therapeutic techniques (CBT, REBT, Art Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, DBT, etc), although I'm not calling myself a therapist (for legal reasons, not for educational reasons), however, I use those in my coaching sessions. What this means is that you can get very effective coaching and techniques that is therapeutic even if you're not in therapy. This makes it especially good for people who are drawn to more hands-on things and want to measure their results, but don't feel that they need therapy or are in a place where they want it.
Unlike other coaches, I don't beleieve in "not giving advice". Often in coach training we are taught to be more like guides and should not give advice to our clients. To me it has always been impossible to try to help others without giving them advice! How am I supposed to be a guide if I can't share what I think with them?! Although, I will always do so in an ethical way and ask for your permission first, of course.
What makes me different is also that I have life experience as well as education in what I coach. I'm myself queer and disabled + neurodivergent. AND I have relevant education in behavioural sciences, counselling, psychology, therapy, life coaching and metaphysical sciences (see proof of education below).
Also, I'm very affordable. That is because I believe in helping those who needs coaching the most, not those who can afford it the most. I don't see my coaching worth in money but in outcome + I only do this part-time as freelance and not as a fulltime job.
Read more about pricing further down below.
Worth to note first is that just because my prices are low doesn't mean the quality is bad. I just want to bring more fair prices to the coaching market and I only offer sessions and answers to clients 2 times each week at a maximum and 1 time as a minimum. Because of my own life circumstances, this is how much I can work, so naturally, my prices are lower than other coaches. However! I have relevant training in both coaching and therapy and I see my work as "helping services" not something measured by money. This isn't my full-time income, at least not for now.
